Ephesians 2:10

God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus he has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do.

I have been working on β€œThe Painting 2” and this scripture jumped out at me with the exact message I have been writing about; that God wills us to do the works he needs us to do. It is whoever listens and reacts that is the answer to someone’s prayers. It is our good deeds that show others what God’s love is all about. Yesterday I was wondering where the following paragraphs came from. Today I received my answer that I am still on the right path. Thought I would share the paragraphs I wrote. They are rough and not edited, but I think they prove a point. God will let you know what you need to do – it’s up to YOU to listen.

Benjamin knew his father would watch over the painting. He witnessed his fathers emotions skip around from happy to sad to angry to glad. He could laugh and cry at the same time. It always made him wonder, especially with the understanding of how time works here, how he could possibly hear and be a part of everybody’s lives at every minute of every day, even when he slept.

But then Benjamin would witness his father send love – so much love. A huge flowing wave of caring and hope would sweep into the painting and blanket everything inside of it like a thick heavy coat of paint. He was sending the will and the way. He was giving everybody the chance to be the solution, to answer his call and help others by just listening and feeling. It was about doing good deeds.

It amazed Benjamin to learn how easy it was to do his father’s work here. His fatherΒ gave everyone exactly what they needed to answer anyone’s call at anytime. Now Benjamin would have to teach that to them… but how?
