About the Award-Winning Author of the Hamilton Troll Children’s Book Series – Kathleen J. Shields
Hi my name is Kathleen and I am the author of the Hamilton Troll educational childrens books. I am a website and graphics designer by day and a writer by night. My dream is to be able to write all of the time (or be going to shows and book signings).
I love what I do, which is probably why I’m not rich and powerful but I am happy and not many people can say that.
Why did I start a blog?
Because the newsletters said I should.
I’m not sure if what I have to post here will be interesting to everyone. I’m not sure if this will be something people will want to follow. Heck, I’m not even sure I’ll be able to come up with something new every week (muchless every day). What I do know is that all of the content I post here will be relevant, informative and interesting. I will always keep my blog clean, there will never be anything derogatory or crude. I want my blog to be kid friendly and parent friendly.
Would I like this blog to be as popular as Julia and Julia?
Yes of course.
Will it be?
I doubt it. While the content I hope will be relevant for some; how to publish books, the series updates, news and events… I doubt it will be as exciting as Julia’s hilarious kitchen antics, or personal emotional stories, but I do hope there will be a following who look to it for guidance and support.
What am I hoping to gain through this blog?
Exposure. Some new friends. Sales.
Hey, I’m an honest person. What can I say? I want everything I put out there in the world to show the kind of person I am and I want that to always be something I can be proud to put my name on.
Thank you for reading!
