In a previous post, I was thinking about the idea of sitting at Jesus side, or at the very least having some time to socialize with Jesus upon arrival to heaven. Mathematically, I determined that 1.8 people die every second which led to an average of one person per side, per second for all eternity. That made me sad because I’d want a lot more than a quick second with the Son. But that also made me wonder about reincarnation.

Some people believe in it, some don’t. I don’t know if I believe, but I do know that some people, I feel like I know better than others. I feel closer to them, kindred spirits? You tell me.

That being said, the mathematician in me goes back to statistics. With 7 billion people on the planet now, and 200 years ago it was 978 million, and when Jesus was born it was around 300 million. Imagine there have been, since the beginning of time, since Adam and Eve, approximately 101 billion souls born on this planet – that seems like a lot of souls. Heaven would be a crowded place unless some of those souls come back to Earth to try again… just saying.
